Senior Project Manager – Data Centres (Electrical)

About the role

Skanska is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the electrical discipline on medium to large‑scale data centre projects. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day management, ensuring design, construction and commissioning meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction and commissioning processes.
• Develop, administer and monitor project controls, guaranteeing implementation and compliance.
• Plan, develop, scrutinise and deliver the end‑to‑end programme, including contingency plans for specific packages.
• Control commercial and contractual aspects of assigned packages.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and capture opportunities.
• Manage health, safety and environmental reporting in line with Skanska HSE systems.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing multiple disciplines and work sequencing on data‑centre MEP contracts.
• Proven track record delivering projects with an MEP value over £20 million.
• Formal health & safety accreditation (minimum SMSTS).
• Demonstrated leadership of project teams on medium to large data‑centre schemes.
