Senior Project Manager – eDiscovery & AI/GenAI

About the role

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead eDiscovery and AI/GenAI initiatives across complex litigation matters. The role will oversee the full technology lifecycle from early case assessment through trial, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective delivery of legal tech solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end eDiscovery and legal technology projects, including white‑collar, antitrust, arbitration and regulatory investigations.
• Design and implement workflows, databases and reporting structures tailored to each matter.
• Build project plans, budgets and progress reports, and act as the primary liaison with managed‑services providers and vendors.
• Select, negotiate and manage relationships with legal‑tech vendors, driving adoption of new tools.
• Identify emerging AI/GenAI and TAR solutions, conduct testing and provide best‑practice guidance.
• Advise lawyers on optimal tools and workflows and train case teams on platforms such as Relativity, VincentAI and Clearbrief.

Required profile

• 8+ years of legal technology experience, preferably in AmLaw 100 firms, Big 4 or eDiscovery vendors.
• Proven track record managing large, cross‑border electronic discovery projects.
• Deep knowledge of the eDiscovery lifecycle, EDRM, Sedona standards and related case law.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; RCA certification strongly preferred; PMP, ACEDS or similar certifications a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with eDiscovery platforms: Relativity, Relativity aiR, VenioOne, Nuix, eZReview, Trial Director, CaseRooms, Opus Magnum.
• Experience with AI/GenAI and technology‑assisted review tools: VincentAI, Legora, Opus 2, Clearbrief.
• Strong ability to design workflows, databases and reporting mechanisms for litigation.
