Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are a small, dynamic consultancy based in Central London, specialising in capital and development project management. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with at least five years of experience in construction, development or property consultancy to lead projects from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and construction schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, chair design and progress meetings, and ensure clear communication across all parties.
• Prepare and submit planning applications, support funding submissions, and supervise site surveys.
• Establish and monitor project budgets, manage cost forecasts, and lead procurement of consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Administer contracts, handle variations, change control and payment certifications.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities, providing regular updates and reports.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, enforce quality control, health and safety, and CDM requirements.
• Manage construction risks, resolve site issues and oversee practical completion and handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, development or property consultancy.
• Proven ability to lead projects from planning stage through delivery.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Background in refurbishment and new‑build projects in a client‑side, consultancy or development management environment is advantageous.
