Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a multi‑million‑pound workforce scheduling programme for a large, multi‑site transport organisation operating across the UK and internationally. The role will be based in South Bank, London and will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery over a two‑year fixed‑term.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of the workforce scheduling programme across several operating companies.
• Coordinate multi‑site roll‑outs, ensuring alignment with emerging governance, processes and standards.
• Manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive organisational change.
• Work closely with system integrators and oversee phased deployments.
• Monitor progress against timelines, budgets and quality targets, adapting to a fast‑moving environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale, multi‑business projects in ambiguous environments.
• Strong understanding of frontline workforces in transport, logistics, hospitality or retail.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and influence outcomes.
• Comfortable working with emerging governance frameworks and establishing standards.

Required skills

• Experience with workforce scheduling platforms such as HASTUS or similar.
• Familiarity with waterfall delivery methodology.

What we offer

• Up to £110,000 salary plus benefits.
• Two‑year fixed‑term contract.
• Hybrid working model – four days onsite, one day remote.
