Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high‑profile legal projects for a leading international law firm. The role will work closely with partners, legal teams and clients to enhance matter delivery, operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex legal projects from planning through delivery, ensuring they are on time, within budget and meet the highest standards.
• Partner with partners, lawyers and clients to improve collaboration, project delivery and the overall client experience.
• Introduce Legal Project Management best practices, streamline processes and support more efficient delivery across the firm.
• Oversee budgets, resource planning and profitability, providing commercial insight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior team members, deliver training and help expand the firm’s global Legal Project Management function.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex legal projects within an international law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence partners and senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with solid understanding of budgeting, profitability, resource planning and financial reporting.
• Excellent project leadership experience using recognised project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Professional project management qualification (e.g., PMP, APM) and excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.
