Senior Project Manager

About the role

Oscar Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing IT & Digital Delivery team. The role is hybrid, based in Leeds, and focuses on delivering complex IT and digital transformation projects across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale IT and digital projects, from initiation to go‑live.
• Define project scope, delivery approach, success criteria and measurable business benefits.
• Build and manage integrated project plans across finance, operations, supply chain, commercial and IT workstreams.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, shape solutions and drive key decisions.
• Manage internal teams, third‑party suppliers and system integrators to keep delivery on track.
• Oversee design, build, testing, implementation, cut‑over and post‑go‑live activities.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and governance throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce clear project reporting for senior stakeholders and governance boards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering complex IT and digital projects in large or complex organisations.
• Proven track record of managing full project lifecycles with accountability for successful delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at all business levels.
• Experience working with third‑party suppliers, delivery partners and system integrators.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent knowledge of enterprise technology and digital transformation concepts.
