Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a Housing Service Improvement Programme for a well‑established public‑sector client. You will be responsible for driving transformation, service redesign and operational efficiency across housing services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of housing transformation and service‑improvement projects, from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risk registers, dependencies and benefits‑realisation frameworks.
• Facilitate service reviews, process redesign and operational‑improvement initiatives across housing management, repairs, resident engagement, complaints, tenancy services, compliance and asset management.
• Establish robust project governance, reporting structures and produce business cases, progress reports, dashboards and presentation materials.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring value for money and financial control.
• Run workshops and stakeholder‑engagement sessions to secure buy‑in and drive change.
• Lead organisational change activities and support adoption of new processes and ways of working.
• Monitor performance against objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, partners, contractors and residents.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale housing or public‑sector transformation projects.
• Strong ability to manage complex project schedules, risks and benefits.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience preparing business cases, reports and dashboards.
• Track record of managing project budgets and achieving value for money.
