Senior Project Manager – Mechanical Building Services

About the role

NG Bailey is seeking a mechanically‑focused Senior Project Manager to lead a multi‑million‑pound mixed‑use industrial and commercial development on the outskirts of Glasgow. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of the project, ensuring safety, profitability and client satisfaction throughout the bid, pre‑construction and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a "safety first" culture across all project activities.
• Participate in bid preparation to secure profitable contracts that meet client expectations.
• Lead pre‑commencement planning and mobilisation.
• Drive efficiency and profitability during the delivery phase.
• Review scope of works and installation methods to meet precise customer requirements.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks.
• Lead the project team and specialist sub‑contractors through to successful completion.
• Contribute to business strategy and internal communications.
• Conduct contract reviews, prepare reports and manage project data.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Director on business plans.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven mechanical building services experience in a construction environment.
• Track record of managing the full lifecycle of high‑value projects.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
