Senior Project Manager – Nuclear Energy

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams within the Energy unit’s Nuclear, Defence and Civil division. The role involves delivering complex, highly regulated nuclear projects across the UK, ensuring safety, quality and alignment with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated project team capable of delivering on project objectives.
• Develop and execute execution strategies, setting baselines for scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Lead delivery teams to meet project requirements while adhering to legislation and company procedures.
• Provide accurate, timely performance updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and issues early, implementing corrective actions to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience in infrastructure and regulated environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients.
• Ability to develop execution strategies and manage project baselines.
• Experience delivering projects within scope, cost, schedule and quality constraints.
• Knowledge of risk identification and mitigation in complex projects.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
• Understanding of nuclear industry regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in project reporting and performance monitoring tools.
