Senior Project Manager – Open Banking & Core Banking Upgrade

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead two critical initiatives for a leading private and commercial bank: an Oracle Flexcube upgrade and the implementation of Open Banking v4. The role is based in London with a four‑day on‑site schedule and an initial six‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver a comprehensive plan for the Oracle Flexcube upgrade.
• Drive the discovery and delivery phases of the Open Banking v4 upgrade.
• Coordinate activities across multiple matrix‑managed teams, ensuring alignment and timely progress.
• Facilitate working groups, acting as the bridge between technical and business stakeholders.
• Maintain project governance, including reporting, RAID logs and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level project management experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to enforce PM governance.
• Willingness to work on‑site four days a week.

Required skills

• Open Banking implementation (OBAPI preferred).
• Core banking systems experience.
• Oracle Flexcube expertise.
