Senior Project Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

We are a growing construction consultancy in London seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale residential schemes. You will take full ownership of housing association and build‑to‑rent projects ranging from 150 to 400 units, overseeing both pre‑contract and post‑contract phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead residential projects from inception to completion, managing programme, procurement and consultant coordination.
• Administer contracts, monitor risk, produce project reports and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Chair project meetings, direct multidisciplinary teams and track performance against time, cost and quality targets.
• Support business development and nurture client relationships where desired.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a construction consultancy environment.
• Strong residential project background, delivering housing association or build‑to‑rent schemes of 150‑400 units.
• Proven ability to manage pre‑contract and post‑contract delivery independently from day one.
• Relevant degree (Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying) and chartership support (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB) if applicable.
• Excellent client‑facing, communication and leadership capabilities.
