Senior Project Manager – Software Development

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead software development projects for a diverse client portfolio. The role combines technical understanding of application programming, databases and systems design with strong stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day project activities and scope.
• Liaise with clients to capture requirements and ensure expectations are met.
• Review deliverables from the in‑house development team.
• Apply Prince2, Agile and Waterfall methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Own project budgets exceeding £500k.
• Coordinate hybrid working arrangements and support the development team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager in a client‑facing environment.
• Proven experience delivering software projects across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience managing budgets greater than £500k.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
