Senior Project Manager – WMS Transformation (Blue Yonder)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery phase of a major Warehouse Management System (WMS) transformation for a retail client. The role will be based in London (hybrid) with occasional travel to Milton Keynes and will work closely with Blue Yonder, internal engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership across technical and business teams, ensuring alignment and accountability.
• Coordinate activities between Blue Yonder (system integrator), engineering, solution architects, business SMEs and analysts.
• Drive governance and reporting, including weekly status updates, steering‑committee preparation and RAID management.
• Manage vendor performance, track deliverables against commercial agreements and T&M financial targets.
• Oversee delivery against milestones, proactively identify risks, dependencies and issues, and implement mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex, enterprise‑scale technology programmes or projects.
• Strong track record of managing system integrators or third‑party vendors.
• Ability to work across technical and business domains, bridging engineering, architecture and functional teams.
• Experience building integrated delivery plans in hybrid waterfall‑plus‑agile environments.
• Excellent governance, risk and financial management capabilities.
