Senior Project Planner – Industrial & Logistics Development

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Planner to join a high‑profile industrial and logistics development in Bristol. Working closely with the Project Director and site teams, you will own the planning function from construction start through to handover, ensuring the programme stays on track and meets sustainability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain fully logic‑linked construction programmes using Asta Powerproject.
• Monitor progress against the programme, identify critical path items and implement recovery actions.
• Collaborate with site management to update progress and deliver accurate programme reporting.
• Create short‑term programmes, look‑ahead schedules and conduct delay analyses.
• Identify programme risks and opportunities, applying mitigation measures where needed.
• Support client progress meetings and present updates to key stakeholders.
• Provide planning expertise throughout the construction lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience with a UK main contractor on large‑scale industrial, logistics or commercial projects.
• Strong background delivering complex construction programmes from start to finish.
• Excellent knowledge of Asta Powerproject; experience with Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Ability to manage programmes independently and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
