Senior Property Accountant

About the role

Our client, a leading international real estate investment and development firm, is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join its London‑based European finance team. The role offers broad exposure to financial reporting, treasury, governance, budgeting, statutory compliance and strategic finance projects across multiple European jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial reporting, governance and statutory compliance for a European real‑estate portfolio.
• Liaise with third‑party accounting providers, company secretarial teams and internal finance stakeholders across jurisdictions.
• Partner with the European Finance Director and Regional Finance Managers on analysis, strategic projects and business initiatives.
• Oversee accounts payable, cash management and treasury administration at company level.
• Prepare board, investor and management reports for European entities and investments.
• Assist with annual budgets, re‑forecasts and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Prepare quarterly debt compliance certificates and support lender reporting.
• Support the preparation and filing of annual financial statements, statutory reporting and external audit processes.
• Coordinate tax reporting information for external advisers.
• Contribute to acquisitions, disposals, financial due diligence and wider strategic initiatives.
• Participate in finance transformation, systems implementation and process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification.
• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Motivated finance professional seeking to broaden experience in an international property business.
