Senior Property Manager / Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to lead our residential property management team in Hertford. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with legislation, and deliver a high level of service to landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the property management team through training, mentoring and day‑to‑day guidance.
• Oversee a residential portfolio, maintaining compliance and service standards.
• Act as the senior point of contact for complex landlord and tenant enquiries and dispute resolution.
• Manage maintenance issues, instruct contractors and ensure timely repairs.
• Monitor health and safety, statutory checks and current legislation.
• Review departmental performance, identify improvements and implement efficient processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor or supervise a team.
• Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
