About the role
We are looking for a senior Python Automation Engineer to join a fast‑moving team supporting an investment‑banking client. The role is contract‑based for three months and offers a hybrid working model with three days on site each week.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust Python‑based automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest).
- Create, execute and maintain automated test cases covering functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Collaborate with QA, development and product teams to translate complex business requirements into test scenarios.
- Manage test data, environments and CI/CD pipelines using Git.
- Leverage AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to improve coding efficiency.
Required profile
- 7‑8 years of hands‑on experience in test automation.
- Strong background in the investment‑banking domain.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a cross‑functional team.
