Senior QA Engineer – Mobile Applications

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer specialized in mobile applications to join our London team in a hybrid model. You will ensure the quality of iOS and Android products used by millions worldwide, working closely with product, design and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test strategies and scripts for iOS (XCUITest) and Android (Espresso) applications.
• Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing for mobile applications.
• Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI pipelines for continuous validation during development cycles.
• Participate in PR reviews, submit recommendations, and contribute to achieving full regression automation coverage.
• Analyze technical feasibility for automation and adopt best practices for maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Conduct performance, compatibility, accessibility, and exploratory testing as needed.
• Identify, document, and drive timely resolution of defects with development teams.
• Drive early testing integration using mocking and simulation techniques.
• Mentor team members on AI‑assisted testing workflows, leveraging prompt generation and coding support.
• Continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and delivery approaches for mobile quality engineering excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of software testing experience with a strong focus on mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on automation experience using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, MonkeyTalk, Selendroid, or Katalon.
• Proven experience across functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end and accessibility testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating tests into pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI tools within testing workflows, prompt design, and VS Code scripting.
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android SDK testing practices and automation frameworks.
