About the role

Man Group’s AHL Macro team is seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher to lead the development of systematic macro investment strategies. The role sits within a global alternative investment firm that manages over $228 billion and combines deep research with advanced technology.

Key responsibilities

• Apply diversified quantitative techniques to design and enhance macro strategies, including momentum‑based and sector‑based approaches.
• Conduct rigorous analysis of large data sets to generate predictive, alpha‑creating insights.
• Collaborate with the Oxford‑Man Institute of Quantitative Finance and other academic partners to integrate cutting‑edge machine‑learning research.
• Work alongside a team of scientists, technologists and finance practitioners to continuously improve systematic investment models.
