Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction contractor specialising in refurbishment, heritage and restoration projects across London. You will work on high‑profile commercial schemes and historic listed buildings, taking ownership of the commercial side of delivery while collaborating with clients, consultants and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial performance of refurbishment and restoration projects.
• Lead cost planning, valuations, variations, forecasting and reporting.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement and negotiate commercial terms.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide commercial insight and support decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
• Strong background in refurbishment, heritage or restoration projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially driven with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
