Senior Quantity Surveyor – Edinburgh

About the role

You will join a leading global engineering and project management consultancy with a strong UK presence. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial management of major infrastructure and engineering projects, delivering cost planning, contract administration and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and budgets.
• Administer contracts, including NEC forms, and manage variations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks.
• Engage with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment.
• Monitor project progress to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably at senior level.
• Background in infrastructure, engineering or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract forms such as NEC.
• Excellent commercial acumen and cost management abilities.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; MRICS chartered status or working towards it is desirable.
