Senior Quantity Surveyor - Healthcare

About the role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor specialising in healthcare, you will be based in London and play a pivotal role in managing the costs of construction projects for NHS Trusts and other healthcare providers. You will ensure value for money, keep projects on budget and support the delivery of essential medical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cost management services on healthcare construction projects.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets and financial reports.
• Manage procurement processes, including tender documentation and contract negotiations.
• Advise on project risks and opportunities from a cost perspective.
• Monitor and control project expenditure to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Offer expert advice on quantity surveying and cost management matters.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as MRICS or equivalent.
• Strong background in quantity surveying and cost management.
• Experience on healthcare or NHS‑related construction projects.
• Proficiency in procurement, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and standards.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 per year, dependent on experience.
