Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist Design & Build contractor delivering complex healthcare projects across the UK. The role is office‑based in Redhill with occasional site visits and reports directly to the Directors, overseeing commercial and financial aspects of multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the commercial side of Design & Build healthcare projects, including cost reporting and financial performance monitoring.
• Negotiate contracts, support legal reviews and ensure compliance with client and statutory requirements.
• Prepare quotations, tender pricing and assist with project profitability analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Directors, buyers, accounts and legal teams to drive project success.
• Support the delivery of specialist hospital refurbishments, new builds and MRI installations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a main‑contractor Quantity Surveyor on construction projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and proven contract negotiation abilities.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver accurate financial reporting.
