Senior Quantity Surveyor – Landmark Civil Engineering Project

About the role

Join a leading civil engineering contractor as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a landmark infrastructure scheme in Bridgwater. Working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager, you will drive commercial performance from procurement through to final account on one of the South West’s most significant projects.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial management of major civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• Administration of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts.
• Procurement and management of subcontractors.
• Cost reporting, forecasting, valuations and CVRs.
• Management of compensation events and change control.
• Building strong relationships with clients, operational teams and the supply chain.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts from procurement to final account.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for delivering successful projects.
