Senior Quantity Surveyor – Refurbishment & Restoration

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected SME main contractor delivering a varied portfolio of refurbishment, restoration and regeneration projects across London. You will work on high‑end residential refurbishments, listed heritage buildings and public‑sector frameworks, managing both internal and external works.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of projects from tender through to final account.
• Oversee procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
• Prepare forecasts, cost variance reports (CVRs) and financial statements.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks to support successful project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, project teams and supply‑chain partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction.
• Background in refurbishment, restoration, residential or framework projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management abilities.
