Senior Quantity Surveyor – Regional Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Regional Construction team in Leeds. You will support projects ranging from £10M to £80M across education, healthcare, leisure and government sectors, ensuring commercial success from tender through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on the financial viability of projects during early stages and tender processes.
• Develop and organise procurement strategies and assess sub‑contractor returns to achieve best value.
• Negotiate with the supply chain to secure optimal commercial outcomes.
• Monitor project expenditure against budgets using detailed Cost Value Reconciliation reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide commercial expertise and guidance.

Required profile

• Proven experience on large two‑stage bids and high‑value construction projects.
• Expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions.
• Strong understanding of procurement and sub‑contractor management.
• Ability to produce detailed commercial reports for senior stakeholders.
• Relevant degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Valid full driving licence.
