Senior Quantity Surveyor – Repairs & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead repairs and maintenance projects within the social housing sector in Hampshire. The role involves overseeing responsive maintenance and voids projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake all aspects of surveying for responsive maintenance and voids projects.
• Manage and lead a team to ensure works are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Oversee cost control, valuations, and financial reporting for projects.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the social housing sector, preferably focused on responsive maintenance.
• Strong leadership ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent commercial awareness and knowledge of building maintenance processes.
• Effective communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (desirable).
