Senior Radio Frequency Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation developing advanced RF and microwave technologies for telecommunications, defence and high‑tech applications. The role involves taking concepts through to production within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RF/mmWave circuits, modules and systems.
• Own RF specifications, simulation, design verification and testing activities.
• Perform system line‑up, tolerance and yield analysis.
• Support component, IC and MMIC selection.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, PCB layout, manufacturing and test teams.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical decisions.
• Provide product introduction support, fault finding and production troubleshooting.
• Ensure designs meet technical, quality, cost and delivery requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in RF, Microwave, Electronics, Communications Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in RF or microwave design.
• Strong understanding of RF system design, simulation and analysis.
• Experience with amplifier, transceiver, filter, module or subsystem design.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
