Senior Radiographer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Radiographer to join our team at Ayrshire Central Hospital. This permanent position offers a supportive environment where you will deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialised imaging services and make informed decisions on required diagnostic procedures.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams involved in patient care.
• Implement and maintain NHS Ayrshire & Arran radiology protocols and standards.
• Work a flexible 30‑hour week, covering evenings, weekends and occasional shift work as needed.
• Consideration for job‑share arrangements.

Required profile

• BSc Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent qualification).
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Valid UK driving licence.
