About the role

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is expanding its US operations from Central London and is looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to drive placements across the United States. The role is full‑time onsite in Moorgate, London, offering a base salary of £30,000‑£32,000 plus up to 40% commission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business by contacting hiring managers via phone and email, building strong relationships.
• Source, screen and interview candidates for US‑based clients across professional sectors.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, craft job descriptions, adverts and tailor resumes.
• Conduct market research to identify prospects and emerging trends.
• Work US‑aligned hours (Mon‑Thu 2 pm‑10 pm, Friday 10 am‑6 pm) to support client time zones.

Required profile

• Sales‑oriented recruitment professional, preferably with experience in engineering or technical markets.
• Confident phone presence and excellent communication skills.
• Resilient, competitive and target‑driven, able to thrive in a fast‑paced US hiring cycle.
• Willingness to work late‑afternoon/evening shifts to match US time zones.
