Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Rubicon Recruitment is looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to launch and grow a brand‑new business‑development desk within its commercial team. You will have full ownership of your pipeline, build relationships with clients nationwide and shape the market you serve.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a new client pipeline through proactive outreach, networking and market mapping.
• Win and manage relationships across multiple commercial sectors.
• Run the full 360 recruitment process – from client brief to candidate short‑list, interview coordination and offer management.
• Maintain consistent activity levels – calls, meetings, follow‑ups and pipeline momentum.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, account management or 360 recruitment.
• Confidence selling services to B2B clients.
• Ability to build trust quickly and turn conversations into long‑term partnerships.

• £40,000 base salary with OTE up to £50,000.
