Senior Reinsurance Client Manager

About the role

As a Senior Reinsurance Client Manager you will join an independent Lloyd's broking house in the City of London, supporting a growing Facultative and Treaty practice. You will work across Property, Cargo and Marine classes, delivering specialist reinsurance solutions for a global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the production and placement of reinsurance contracts in line with client requests and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the placement of designated risks, maintaining documentation throughout the risk life‑cycle (underwriting submissions, market reform contracts, wordings, endorsements).
• Monitor market trends and cycles to identify and leverage opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters, brokers and other market representatives.
• Analyse client needs to recommend appropriate products, terms and conditions.
• Prepare data and submission documentation for underwriters.
• Service client accounts efficiently and professionally, delivering technical expertise to varied audiences.
• Complete mandatory training and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Client Manager within Facultative and/or Treaty reinsurance.
• Background in a broking house or insurer with strong client‑management skills.
• Knowledge of the Treaty or Facultative market; experience with global programmes is a plus.
• Ability to produce a slip from scratch and handle queries from brokers, client directors and underwriters.
