Senior Reinsurance Technician

About the role

An experienced insurance or reinsurance professional is needed to join a leading global facultative team as a senior technical support specialist. The role will support brokers across a worldwide portfolio, overseeing processing, premium administration and operational governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Facultative Brokers across a global portfolio
• Oversee processing activities completed by offshore support teams
• Review submissions, monitor workflows, and ensure data accuracy
• Support premium processing, reconciliations, and settlement queries
• Assist with sanctions, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Act as a technical referral point for operational and processing queries
• Support bordereaux, binder, and facility management activities
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements

Required profile

• Ideally 5+ years’ experience within insurance or reinsurance operations (flexibility on years of experience)
• Experience in Facultative, Treaty, Broking, Insurer Operations, or Technical Processing environments
• Strong understanding of insurance or reinsurance processing and servicing activities
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable working within a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
