Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer Technician

About the role

Amazon’s Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team keeps fulfillment centre equipment running at peak performance. As a Senior RME Technician you will lead a shift team, ensure safe operation of machinery, and drive continuous improvement across the EU network.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate and enforce best‑practice safety and equipment usage.
• Perform visual checks, condition‑based monitoring and preventative maintenance, scheduling additional servicing when needed.
• Supervise and develop technicians on shift, acting as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures to minimise downtime and keep package processing on schedule.
• Identify and implement improvements to standardise processes across the EU network.

Required profile

• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Technical expertise in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading a team in an operational environment.
• Ability to monitor performance using tools such as SCADA.
