Senior Reserving Analyst – Lloyd's Syndicate

About the role

This senior position supports a leading Lloyd's syndicate, working closely with the Head of Reserving, the Chief Actuary and the wider business. You will play a key part in delivering quarterly results and shaping the reserving strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior actuarial leaders to produce quarterly reserving results.
• Perform deep‑dive reviews of business classes using leading reserving software and present findings to underwriters and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse data to refine reserving assumptions, identify trends and early indicators.
• Produce insightful reports on reserves and claims performance.
• Engage with underwriting, finance, claims and other departments to create a feedback loop between reserving, pricing, business planning and capital modelling.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a reserving analyst at a senior level.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
• Aspiration to progress towards a Chief Actuary role.
