This senior position sits within a Top 50 UK law firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency team in London. The role focuses on contentious matters, offering commercially‑driven advice to a diverse client base and contributing to the practice’s strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex, high‑profile contentious restructuring and insolvency cases.
• Deliver commercially focused solutions that balance legal risk with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with specialist colleagues and the firm’s Corporate and Banking teams on multi‑disciplinary matters.
• Play a leading role in business development and help shape the future direction of the practice.
• Leverage an established client platform while building new relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience, currently at Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner level.
• Demonstrated expertise in contentious restructuring and insolvency.
• Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in business development.
• Established professional network or client following is highly desirable.
