Senior Sales Engineer – Remote (Europe)

About the role

Join Checkly as a Senior Sales Engineer to empower developers and agents to own and ensure application performance and reliability, from pull request to post‑mortem. The role is fully remote within UTC+1 and UTC+2 time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert on Checkly and the monitoring space, driving the Monitoring as Code revolution.
• Assist prospects with technical evaluation, from demo to successful implementation, owning the pre‑ and post‑sales process.
• Engage directly with customers, share learnings with Product and Engineering, and help shape the platform.
• Continuously improve technical documentation, processes and policies.
• Participate in Customer Support onboarding and provide occasional support as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Customer Solutions or Forward Deployed Engineer roles.
• Experience in dev‑tools SaaS companies; background in observability, monitoring or testing is a plus.
• Strong technical ability to read, write and debug code, preferably JavaScript/Node.js.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote‑first environment and demonstrate empathy and curiosity with customers.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
