Senior Sales Engineer (Remote, UK)

About the role

As a Senior Sales Engineer you will demonstrate the value of Camunda’s platform and guide organisations through the evaluation of our automation solutions. You will work closely with Account Executives and Solution Architects to conduct proofs of concept, answer technical questions and drive the sales process to a successful win.

Key responsibilities

• Map customer requirements to Camunda’s product portfolio.
• Quantify potential business value of Camunda for prospects.
• Develop tailored evaluation plans and demos.
• Conduct product demonstrations and Q&A sessions.
• Support the completion of RFI/RFP documentation.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and grow accounts.
• Organise and execute pre‑sales engagements, including code snippets.
• Create and maintain pre‑sales content and technical artefacts.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation – degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in sales engineering or pre‑sales, with a deep understanding of sales cycles and value‑based selling.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2) and Dutch, with strong written and verbal abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
