Senior Sales Manager

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by selling sponsorship, data and marketing solutions to a global client base for a leading media events and data business. Working from a hybrid London office, you will target high‑value deals ranging from £5k to over £60k and build long‑term relationships with key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and close new sponsorship and data product opportunities across the insurance sector and related markets.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and contract signing.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, data, and event teams to craft tailored solutions for clients.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and report on forecasts, revenue, and performance metrics.
• Represent the company at industry events and on occasional international trips (e.g., Bermuda, Vermont, Cayman Islands, Chicago).

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in event sponsorship, exhibition, data or media sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent emotional intelligence and ability to build lasting stakeholder relationships.
• Consultative, solution‑focused sales approach and a team‑player mindset.
