Senior Security Systems Engineer – £45k-£55k

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Systems Engineer to join a leading independent security company in the South East. The role is full‑time, permanent and based in Surrey, covering projects across Surrey, Berkshire, Reading, Southampton and London.

Key responsibilities

• Service, fault‑finding, installation and repair of CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
• Manage commissioning, upgrades and fault resolution across multiple commercial, educational and council sites.
• Participate in an on‑call rota (1 in 4‑5 weeks) and respond to call‑outs as required.
• Work on projects for universities and other public sector clients throughout the South East.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with security systems and technical troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to deliver service, installation, commissioning and upgrades independently and within a team.
• Flexible approach to work, including on‑call support.

What we offer

• Basic salary £45,000‑£55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Company vehicle and mobile phone.
• Paid travel time after 30 minutes each way, paid on‑call and overtime.
• Standard working hours Monday‑Friday 08:00‑16:30.
