Senior SEO Manager

About the role

As a Senior SEO Manager you will be a senior individual contributor within a fast‑growing digital marketing agency. You will own the strategy and delivery for a portfolio of client accounts, combining deep technical SEO expertise with strong client‑facing skills and strategic thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a documented SEO strategy for each client, refreshed at least monthly.
• Lead technical SEO audits, keyword research, content gap analysis and competitor benchmarking.
• Oversee on‑page, technical and off‑page recommendations, coordinating with content and outreach teams.
• Stay abreast of AI and large language model impacts on search, applying relevant AI tools to improve SEO workflows.
• Act as the primary SEO point of contact for clients, responding within four hours and providing proactive updates.
• Present performance, strategy and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
• Produce and deliver monthly performance reports, translating data into actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in SEO, managing multiple client accounts.
• Strong technical understanding of search engine algorithms and AI‑driven search features.
• Excellent communication skills with a client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously, set direction and drive measurable results.
