Senior Site Engineer – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer to act as the technical anchor on‑site for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract delivering education and leisure projects across London and the Home Counties.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications, check subcontractor setting‑out and manage as‑built records.
• Oversee deep excavations, stabilisation checks and cut‑and‑fill modelling.
• Conduct inspections of reinforced concrete elements, approve method statements and ensure health, safety and quality compliance.
• Provide technical data, re‑measurements and survey deviation reports to the commercial team.
• Keep the Project/Contracts Manager updated and maintain accurate project records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Category 3 basement construction.
• Significant experience within the UK main‑contracting market.
• Delivered large‑scale education schemes (£10 m–£100 m).
• Ability to work closely with commercial teams and analyse subcontractor data.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
