Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading AI‑powered customer experience and cloud technology organisation. You will help build and maintain highly secure, cloud‑native platforms that deliver critical national services, working on a 24/7 shift rota.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain highly available production platforms running in AWS.
• Respond to and manage production incidents across a 24/7 service.
• Develop automation to reduce manual operational tasks and improve platform resilience.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting and observability across cloud environments.
• Support containerised workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Collaborate with Software, Platform, Cloud and Security Engineers to drive reliability.
• Contribute to post‑incident reviews and continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, Cloud Operations or NOC environments.
• Strong background in Linux systems administration and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
• Passion for automation, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
