Senior Social Worker – Children with Disabilities

About the role

Our client, Yorkshire Collaboration, is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) team. You will work within legislation, government guidance and council standards to deliver child‑centred assessments and interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with children, young people, families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary professionals as part of a coordinated service.
• Deliver high‑quality assessments and develop person‑centred care plans.
• Handle complex needs and safeguarding situations with confidence.
• Manage an allocated caseload efficiently and meet statutory deadlines.

Required profile

• Qualified social worker with senior‑level experience, preferably in children with disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work using a child‑centred approach.
• Experience of multi‑agency collaboration and safeguarding.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a diverse caseload.
