About the role

Are you a passionate and ambitious Senior Social Worker dedicated to delivering outstanding practice and improving children's lives? North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking an experienced Agency Senior Social Worker to join the Children’s Assessment & Safeguarding Service in Grimsby.

Key responsibilities

• Identify complex needs and reduce risk to help children and young people achieve positive outcomes.
• Build collaborative relationships with families, carers and multi‑agency professionals.
• Undertake thorough child and family assessments to create safer, stronger futures across North East Lincolnshire.
• Contribute to a supportive team culture by sharing knowledge, best practice and expert guidance.

Required profile

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
• Proven post‑qualifying experience as a Senior Social Worker within Children’s Assessment & Safeguarding.
