About the role
Our client, Isle of Wight Council, is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their fostering service. The role involves working within the council’s dedicated fostering team to support children and foster families.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver professional social work practice within the fostering service.
- Collaborate with council teams and external partners to ensure the welfare of children in care.
- Maintain accurate case records and comply with statutory requirements.
Required profile
- Qualified Senior Social Worker with experience in fostering or child welfare.
- Willingness to fully register with Remedy for locum positions.
- Ability to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
