Senior Software Developer – C# .NET Trading Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead the design, development, and optimisation of our client’s in‑house trading and research platforms. You will work on greenfield projects, influence architectural decisions and deliver high‑performance, reliable applications that support real‑world trading strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance C#/.NET applications.
• Lead architectural discussions and set technical direction.
• Build scalable, reliable systems for automated trading and research.
• Develop and optimise database solutions using SQL Server or equivalent.
• Improve performance, reliability and automation across the stack.
• Mentor junior developers and champion best engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce high quality standards.
• Collaborate with researchers and traders to translate business requirements into robust software.

Required profile

• BSc (or higher) in Computer Science or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong recent experience with C# and the latest .NET platform.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, Oracle or comparable relational databases.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
