Senior Software Engineer – API Platform Revamp

About the role

GoGlobal is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the redesign of its API‑first platform. You will work within the Product Engineering team, delivering high‑impact features while shaping technical direction and raising engineering standards. This is an individual contributor role focused on building scalable, maintainable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, maintainable solutions for a large API platform revamp.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented TypeScript code for both frontend and backend.
• Lead technical design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and drive engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other cross‑functional teams to align on requirements and delivery.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex features, ensuring high code quality and robust testing.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience shipping reliable software in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong technical leadership without direct people‑management responsibilities.
• Ability to influence architectural decisions and champion engineering excellence.
• Comfort with large‑scale systems, performance tuning, and technical debt reduction.
