Senior Software Engineer – C# .NET

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our global team and take responsibility for the quality, development, and execution of our software products. You will work within a technology department that spans locations such as Barcelona, New York, London, Manchester, Bucharest and India, delivering solutions that simplify the lives of our clients and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in all phases of application development, focusing on coding, debugging and security standards.
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with front‑end developers to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Identify bottlenecks, resolve bugs and optimise applications for performance, scalability and security.
• Implement security best practices and develop automation tests in partnership with automation engineers.
• Provide personalised software support to users and mentor junior engineers.
• Document support procedures and stay updated on emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience building scalable, reliable systems.
• Strong knowledge of C#.NET, LINQ, MS SQL, Entity Framework and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with SOLID principles, clean‑code practices and Agile methodologies.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, working with Docker and databases (SQL Server or NoSQL).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
