About the role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our Core AI Services team at the forefront of industrial AI innovation. In this role you will design, develop, and scale AI‑enabling platform services, agentic workflows, and public APIs that are secure, reliable, and cloud‑native.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault‑tolerant cloud‑native services on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop secure, well‑documented public APIs and SDKs for internal engineering teams and external partners.
- Drive feature implementation from design to production, owning code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions across data pipelines, orchestration layers, and service APIs.
- Embed robust security controls, identity management, and privacy‑by‑design practices across all AI services.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to champion best practices.
- Support and mentor junior and mid‑level developers, fostering continuous learning and innovation.
Required profile
- 5–8+ years of software engineering experience across the full stack, with strong expertise in cloud‑native backend development (.NET C# a plus).
- Hands‑on experience with containerised deployments in Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, testing, and full lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of securing APIs (OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC) and implementing data‑privacy best practices.
- Proficiency with modern AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a track record of delivering scalable solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams across distributed global R&D locations.
- Proven ability to mentor colleagues and elevate team code quality.
